A friend had two pits break through their back yard fence to attack their dog and his wife. Three adult men fought hard to fend off these dogs and they were very determined to mess them up and they did before getting run off. Another case of a friend who's Rottie tore her boyfriend's face all up. This happened in bed when the Rot got up on the bed at night and was startled awake and attacked. His face, which I did see in person, was stitched up like a baseball. Don't let your dogs sleep with you in your bed. Right on Nancy Grace!

  Gwendolyn HananIt used to be when a dog attacked a child it was shot, period. Same for dogs that attacked livestock. Same for dogs that attacked their owners or other adults. It used to be that pit bulls were not adopted out but humanely euthanized. 
  When sleaze-ball "charities" realized, after Vick's dogs made the news, just how much money could be made by "rescuing" pit bulls, things changed.
  
  From that point, every profiteering sleaze from every slimy crevasse with in a 5000 mile radius of Kanab Utah, jumped on the bandwagon. 
  
  About 3 years later the superlatively sleaziest among those multitudes oozed to the top, like oil from the Exxon Valdez did, in the waters of Prince William Sound. . 
  
  That toxic sleaze-soup gave us; Tina Tore-ass, and the barren Baronessas of BFAS and AFF, and the No Pitkill Shelter potentates, and the mixed bag of sociopaths, criminals and dog fighters that call themselves "rescues". 
  
  They all learned how to milk the public. They learned how to profit from the support of their thralls. They not only profit from the donations paid out by this never ending supply of willing, biddable, intellectually and socially challenged mass of sock puppets, but they also use them to clog social media and fluff journalism outlets with pit bullshit and obfuscation. 
  
  The whole thing stinks worse than the clogged toilets and backed up sewers of 3rd world countries. I'm just sayin'........
