Charlotte Michelle Province I almost started to date someone who, it turned out, had a pit bull. I found out because he brought it to my house to meet my two little dogs. I said NO WAY and he said, "Oh, but he loves your dogs! He wants to be family" Huh?? I blocked him from everything. Nutter.

  • Merryll Simon Guess I'm old. 40+ years ago, Humans had rights to self preservation and ANY dog that bit human or animal was euthanized to prevent any possible further "accidents".

    • Janvier Rowe Oh you're not old! I was bitten by a dog 15 years ago. The bite didn't require stitches but since it had actually chased me and was aggressive in the past, it was put down. Play bites don't require stitches. The parents have every right to keep their child safe.

  • Rhonda Fiffik Hummmm.... some things stand out to me.... "accidentally" (either a dog bites or it doesn't), "wanted to swing with him" (since when did dogs begin speaking???), "small thing wrong" (STITCHES are no small thing).

  • Laurie Kuhn Their dog their call. I guess if you want to do this in the future just go straight to the vet and do it before all this crap can get rolling.
